Lore Role: The Veil Riders make their ascent beneath silence—mapping the wind's language and feeling memory in breathlines
In the hush of the Cloudbed, mist drifts like a thousand whispered secrets just out of reach. Tendrils of translucent gray curl around vaulted arches of frost, and the air tastes of memory unspoken. Every rider’s breath crystallizes midair, painting invisible lines that vanish as soon as they’re drawn.
Elara kneels at the edge of the driftline, scroll unrolled across a frost-slick stone. Her dip pen—cast from leftover Stratus Veil resin—gleams with ultramarine veins. She selects the crow-quill nib, dips it into Frostline Blue ink, and begins to write.
Her script is elegant, looping, deliberate. She records the glyphs Zoey traced, the shimmer Andrea poured, the silence between them. Her words are not just documentation—they’re invocation. She writes to remember, but also to preserve.
