Glacemoor values endurance above everything else — the capacity to persist, to outlast, to remain unchanged while everything around it transforms. Winter Fae do not mourn. They preserve. They do not forget. They accumulate. To serve Glacemoor is to become harder, colder, and more beautiful with each passing century, until you are less a living thing and more a monument to everything you have survived.
Seraveth the Still has ruled since before the Severance. She was present at the writing of the Hollow Pact and is one of three living Fae who know what the original language said. She does not share this knowledge. She is patient the way glaciers are patient — not passive, but inevitable. She does not threaten because threats imply uncertainty about the outcome.
The Glacemoor Accords are told through the eyes of Calder — mortal-born, bound through a bargain he made before he understood what bargaining with the Winter Court meant. He is aware he is being used. He is beginning to suspect he does not entirely mind.
